Transparent pricing, fixed before the work begins
Every quote states the price, the delivery date and exactly what is included. It arrives within one business hour of receiving your files, and nothing is charged until you approve it. Translation memory lowers the cost of repeated content on every subsequent project.
How the price is calculated
Translation is priced on the volume of the source text, per word or per standard page, so you know the total before the work starts. The rate depends on:
- Language pair. Common European pairs cost less than rare or Asian languages, where fewer qualified translators are available.
- Subject matter. General business texts are priced below specialist legal, medical, financial or technical content, which requires a subject-matter translator.
- Volume and repetition. Larger projects benefit from volume rates, and segments already stored in your translation memory are charged at a reduced rate.
- Deadline. Standard delivery is one to two business days for typical documents. Urgent and same-day delivery carries a surcharge that is stated in the quote.
- Certification and layout. Agency certification, notarisation, apostille and desktop publishing are itemised separately, so you pay only for what the receiving institution requires.
Included in every quote
- Translation by a native translator in your field
- Review by a second linguist
- Your glossary and translation memory, created and maintained at no charge
- Project management and a single point of contact
- Delivery in the original file format
- VAT invoice; purchase-order and framework-agreement billing for companies
- Confidentiality agreement on request
Indicative rates
Starting prices for standard business texts at normal delivery times. The exact price for your document, language pair and deadline is confirmed in the quote.

Questions about pricing
Is the quote binding?
Yes. The price and delivery date in the quote are fixed for the files and scope you sent. If you later add documents or change the brief, we issue an updated quote before continuing.
Do you charge a minimum fee?
Very short texts are charged at a minimum rate per language pair, which covers translation, review and project handling. The minimum is stated in the quote.
How do translation-memory discounts work?
Every sentence we translate for you is stored in a translation memory that belongs to your company. When a later document contains the same or similar sentences (a new version of a contract or an updated manual), those segments are charged at a reduced rate, and the translation stays consistent with the earlier version.
How do we pay?
By bank transfer against a VAT invoice. Companies can pay on standard payment terms, issue purchase orders and receive a consolidated monthly invoice under a framework agreement. New private clients pay on confirmation of the quote.
Can we get a quote without sending the actual document?
You can ask for an estimate from a description of the text and its length. The binding quote, however, is issued on the basis of the actual files, because volume, format and subject matter determine the price. Files are treated as confidential from the moment we receive them.
